My final (long overdue) post for today is my take on the Case File 182 at Color Stories Inspiration.  I fell head over heels in love with this colour palette the moment I saw it and I knew that I wanted to create something dreamy, floaty and feminine.
And so, to solve the case, this is what I came up with.

Scheme : all there
Evidence : large polka dots, leaves, vines, white background
Testimony : IW, sweet
At one of our many trips to Butterfly World (!!), you were completely entranced by the tiny baby goldfish in this little pond.  You desperately wanted to reach out and touch them, but I would not have it - there were minute and delicate.  All you kept on saying was "Mommy!  Aren't they SWEET?  Oh Mommy, they are SO SWEET."  You were stuck here at this very pond for ages as you watched the little things flit around.  There were hundreds of them and it was amazing to watch such tiny creatures surviving, thriving, living, breathing.  We were both equally amazed and watched them in silent awe for a while.

Card : Best Friends

Here is the latest card sketch from Feeling Sketchy.  Be sure to check out the amazing work my fellow DT members came up with; it never ceases to amaze me how one sketch can produce so many different view.
And here is what I did with the sketch.  As you can see, I rotated it once, clockwise.

Sunshine, Sand & Smiles

I loved putting together this LO with the latest sketch from Let's Scrap!

I've fallen behind on my blog posts again!  We were away for 6 days over last weekend and I've not really caught up with life in general yet!
So, on to my the first of three posts today!  Sharing my take on Case 181 at Color Stories Inspiration.  A really great palette and another gorgeous sketch by gorgeous Em!!
Here is what I did with the challenge:

Scheme : all there
Evidence : frames, transportation element, string
Testimony : document a trip or outing
My bluebird.  I have lost count of how many times we have gone to Butterfly World.  It certainly seems to be our "go-to" venue; but you LOVE it, and that's all that matters.  It's hard to keep up with you as you traipse around and around and AROUND the tropical garden, hunting the butterflies down.  I'm sure you could spend half a day there, if given the choice!  Mommy loves it too, because it's so very pretty there and seeing you in your element is really all that matters to me.  The fact that it's an educational excursion acts in its favour too.  I have no doubt that we will remain regular visitors to this enchanting centre.  It's a wonderful escape from the reality of the world.  A little haven of beautiful plants and flowers, running water, Koi fish and of course, delicately wafting butterflies.
